We really like the tamales de mole. They are really big. The portions here a decent size that we had food left over to take home. Very clean bathrooms (always a plus for me) and reasonably priced.

Major franchise company in Oaxaca, but with their own touch and menu. Of course their chocolate is very good, and they also have a nice menu. I ordered the Sandwich Maneggiare Mayordomo and Sopa de Milpa. The sandwich was their variation of a Monty Cristo I think. The Sopa was a squash flower/vegetable soup with quesillo. Updated: Sat for an hour enjoying a chocolate y pan. Excellent experience each time. January 2023: Birthday brunch. Great service as always. June 2023: crepes de chapuline was a little salta but excellent in flavor and presentation.

We ate here two days in a row ordering different dishes (tlayuda mayodono, huarache oaxaqueno, enmoladas with tasajo, enmoladas with cecina, and Machaca Oaxaquena). Our waiters were always very kind and quick to help us, the food was delicious with the enomoladas becoming a favorite. Located right in the Zocalo, there is a beautiful view when you eat outside. Overall, wonderful experience, I completely recommend it.

Good food. Wonderful view from the terrazze. Relaxing

Great place to have a relaxed breakfast. Very calm with some excellent street music. The food was great with a lot of options and not to expensive even though it's located on Zocalo

Must try the tamal con mole and a hot chocolate with a concha. We came here almost every night for a late bite to eat. The restaurant was super busy because of the guelagetza, but the service was excellent. Hard workers and always checked in on us. I’m not a fan of tamales, but the mole negro won me over. The chicken with mole is really good too. We bought some mole to bring back in the states. They blend the hot chocolate by hand at your table. I also recommend you dip the bread in the coffee, otherwise it may be to dry. You are able to enjoy your meal and people watch at the zocalo. They never rushed us regardless how busy the were and we got a table right by the stage of a performance. Great service and food... i highly recommend!

My daughter and I came to this spot a few times over our stay in Oaxaca. We tried the chilaquiles verdes con tasajo, chilaquiles con huevo en chile rojo, arracherra, memelitas and their delicious hot chocolate and chocomio. All was delicious. Staff was always pleasant.

We ate here a few times with the kids and almost every night stopped by their takeout window for a hot chocolate and croissant. It was all so delicious! The take out window was very affordable and the chocolate frio was also delicious and a huge portion. Thank you!
